Kate Moss

Kate Moss entered fragrance in 2007 with Kate, her first scent, launched in partnership with Coty. The debut was shaped around a vintage-English identity that brought together feminine and rock-and-roll elements, with contrasting light and dark sides reinforced by a black-rose motif. The European Commission recorded the worldwide Kate Moss fragrance brand as discontinued by Coty on 30 June 2013, after certain fragrance licences were allowed to expire without renewal. In 2022, Moss launched Cosmoss, a separate wellness-and-beauty venture inspired by her personal journey of wellness and self-discovery, including meditation, yoga, nature and daily rituals. She funded the venture herself, and the current Cosmoss website defines it around nature-inspired mindful beauty and wellness rituals under Cosmoss Group Limited. The fragrance examples identified across these two phases are Kate and, in the Cosmoss era, Sacred Mist, presented as the line’s eau de parfum and a central Cosmoss product.
