Kenkô

Founded in the Netherlands by Eveline Kerkhof, Kenkô launched in February 2020 as a privately held skincare brand. It grew from Kerkhof’s pregnancy-inspired idea for natural care for mothers and babies; before launching Kenkô, she ran an online clean-beauty shop and left it to focus on the new company. The brand’s identity centers on natural, organic-certified care for mother and baby, with fragrance and formulation intended to reinforce their intimate bond and preserve memories of early motherhood. Early development emphasized local production and sustainability, with the first products shaped through research, trials, and collaboration with other mothers. Rather than presenting scent as a conventional standalone perfume, Kenkô uses low-dose blends of natural and organic essential oils and extracts. It later developed a children’s eau-de-toilette program that includes Lilja, a floral fragrance inspired by Swedish summers and childhood memories.
