Kerzon Paris
Kerzon Paris was founded by brothers Étienne Delaplace and Pierre-Alexis Delaplace; its official history dates the brand’s birth to 2014, while company records and an independent profile place its legal creation or launch in 2013. The name comes from the brothers’ Breton family holiday house, combining a word associated with home or abode with a reference to maison. Their starting point was the scent of family life, childhood memories, travel, and craftsmanship, which shaped a range of scented products for the home, linens, and body, with an emphasis on simplicity, authenticity, and sustainability. Pierre-Alexis contributed a design and artistic-director background, while Étienne brought business, marketing, and commercial experience. Kerzon’s first product was a paper scented sachet, illustrated by Pierre-Alexis and conceived as a contemporary take on traditional lavender bags. For its initial fragrances, the brand worked with the historic Grasse perfume house Charabot on poetic, upbeat compositions beyond conventional single-note rose or lavender. Its creative approach treats fragrance as an evocation of memory and domestic life, extending scents across personal and household rituals. The scented pouches are identified as Kerzon’s first success and remain an emblematic format.
