Fragrance house
Kesling
Kesling emerged around 1989–1990. In the 1990s, Bashar Nasri launched the fragrance venture, initially selling it exclusively online; the fragrances incorporated Damascus rose and jasmine references selected by Nasri and were composed by a perfumer. Kesling’s creative identity treats perfume as an object, pairing unexpected fragrance concepts with distinctive bottle designs. This approach appears in Formidable, whose two-in-one bottle combines a daytime eau de toilette with an evening eau de parfum. The brand also connects fragrance with cultural references: Be Bop draws on the 1940s bebop movement and its musicians, framing the scent through the exclusion of the obvious. Kesling’s perfumery and beauty products are marketed by France Excellence SARL, which also publishes the brand’s website.
