Khaltat
Khaltat is a UAE-born perfume brand founded in 2012 around love, feelings, emotions, and personal attachment. It was conceptualized by Emirati perfumer and entrepreneur Mohamed Hilal, whose fragrance work drew on Emirati traditions of oud, bukhoor, dokhoon, herbs, and spices; Khaltat presented this heritage through a modern form of Oriental perfumery. The brand is part of Mohamed Hilal Group, alongside Hind Al Oud and Anfasic Dokhoon. An early milestone came with Khaltat No. 4 and No. 8, launched after four to five years of planning and research and development: No. 4 took its theme from the four elements, while No. 8 referenced infinity. A notable fragrance concept associated with Khaltat is the Blends of Love collection, comprising 11 fragrances named after the word love in different languages and offered as Eau de Parfum with matching concentrated oils. Within the collection, Ai, the Japanese interpretation of love, won Best Male Scent of 2012 at the FiFi Awards Arabia. In 2024, Khaltat co-presented the Emovation Lab, an interactive experience where visitors created scents inspired by their emotions.
