Kiko Milano

KIKO Milano was founded in Bergamo, Italy, in 1997 by Antonio and Stefano Percassi. Its first retail point opened on 1 September that year in Milan, where products were displayed at the Elio Fiorucci store in San Babila. From the outset, the concept brought together Italian beauty-industry expertise and inspiration from art and design, with a broad cosmetics proposition designed to let customers create their own style. The brand’s identity combines global beauty trends with an Italian perspective, encouraging individual expression through experimentation with colour, texture and technique. For its 20th anniversary in 2017, KIKO Milano created seven limited-edition collections with international fashion and design partners, including Leitmotiv, Benedetta Bruzziches and Arthur Arbesser. On 26 April 2024, L Catterton announced a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake from the Percassi family; the family retained a significant stake, and Antonio Percassi retained the chairmanship.
