Fragrance house

Kingdom Scotland

Kingdom Scotland is a Scottish fragrance house founded by Imogen Russon-Taylor. Kingdom Scotland Limited was incorporated on 26 February 2016, and Russon-Taylor began developing the brand that year after years of research, drawing on earth sciences and nearly two decades in Scotch whisky and luxury goods. The house launched in 2019 through Harvey Nichols and Gleneagles. Its creative identity is grounded in Scottish landscape, geology, and natural history, with perfumes presented as genderless or unisex and inspired by place; it also explores the sensory connection between whisky and perfume. Historical and botanical research, including archival work with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, informed its study of Scotland’s perfume past. Kingdom Botanica was created with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to express the garden’s botanical heritage and plant-exploration history. Added in 2020, it was developed over two years with Scottish perfumer Stephanie Anderson.
