Kopari Beauty
Kopari Beauty launched in 2015 as a direct-to-consumer brand founded by Bryce and Gigi Goldman, Kiana Cabell, and James Brennan. The company was based in San Diego and built its early identity around coconut-oil-based beauty and personal-care products, drawing on the founders’ shared interest in coconut oil and organic wellness to develop natural-ingredient products for use from head to toe. On January 25, 2017, Kopari announced a growth-capital investment from L Catterton, with celebrity investors also participating. The brand later evolved into a broader clean-beauty business spanning skincare, body care, personal care, and sun care, combining natural ingredients with clinical actives. Its creative identity pairs sensory textures and scents with a paradise-oriented mood, while its product line transitioned to fully recyclable packaging in 2021, incorporating post-consumer recycled plastic where feasible. In fragrance, Kopari is known for transportive scents, including a signature sweet coconut-milk-and-vanilla scent.
