Korloff
Korloff is a French jewelry house founded by Daniel Paillasseur in 1978. Named for a black diamond associated with the Russian Korloff-Sapojnikoff family, the house identifies the stone as its central symbol; the rough 204-carat diamond was cut to 88 carats, and Korloff says it was the first jewelry house to use black diamonds in its creations. Its identity is organized around innovation in forms, techniques and materials, with the number 8 linking its founding year, the diamond’s 88-carat weight and the K88 cut. During the 1990s, the family-managed company expanded beyond jewelry into timepieces, writing instruments, fragrances and couture. Korloff’s first fragrance arrived in 1996 as a floral-fruity composition, followed by the numbered Kn°I, Kn°II and Kn°III trio in 2008 and Korloff Lady, Korloff Man and Korloff Noir in 2010. Extend Beauty acquired Korloff Parfums effective June 13, 2024, and the current fragrance presentation groups its scents under Mémoire, K88 and Facette.
