Kung Fu Panda

Kung Fu Panda began as a DreamWorks Animation feature film released in 2008, introducing Po, a panda who becomes the Dragon Warrior. Set in the Valley of Peace, the property is built around martial-arts storytelling and Po’s journey, forming part of DreamWorks’ family-entertainment franchise portfolio. Its story moved beyond the original film in 2009, when Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation announced Kung Fu Panda: The Series, a television adaptation featuring the film’s characters and setting. Kung Fu Panda 4 was released in 2024 as the fourth feature installment, extending the film franchise under DreamWorks Animation and Universal.
