L'Aromatica

L'Aromatica is a Latina-owned artisan fragrance company based in Northern California, created and owned by perfumer Loreto Remsing. Its creative premise brings together art, science, botany, and personal memory, with perfumes drawing on experiences, loved ones, childhood memories, places, foods, seasons, and people. The business has developed three related labels: L'Aromatica, its original mixed-media line; LARO, a luxury all-natural line; and Marin Fragrance Co., a local casual line. Its stated botanical approach uses essential oils, absolutes, handmade tinctures, resins, CO2 extracts, natural isolates or compounds, and selected aroma molecules. The perfumes are made in small batches, are non-gendered, vegan, and cruelty-free. A defining fragrance example is Kulfi, a sweet, spicy gourmand inspired by the Indian dessert and listed among the brand's popular perfumes. In 2020, Kulfi was extended into a limited-edition set of five variations inspired by dessert toppings.
