L'Envie

L’Envie is a Brazilian fragrance house founded by Fábio Ottaiano in 2011. It began with a focus on personal fragrances, later developing a substantial home-fragrance business before refocusing attention on personal perfumery in 2021. The brand’s creative identity emphasizes independent, authorial creation, freedom for perfumers, and fragrances presented without gender labels. Its multicultural model brings together Brazilian, New Zealand, and French references through open, collaborative briefs, with Isaac Sinclair and Fanny Grau serving as its principal perfumers. At its tenth anniversary in 2021, L’Envie reported an offering of eight authorial, genderless fragrances. In 2025, it presented a redesigned Urban collection as a minimalist, contemporary expression linking home identity, design, and fragrance; Sinclair and Grau created the fragrances. Figorativo is identified by a major Brazilian beauty retailer as an L’Envie best seller and was created by Grau. The fragrance draws on her olfactory memories of a fig tree in southern France, placing fig at the center of its composition.
