L'Orchestre Parfum

L’Orchestre Parfum was founded by Pierre Guguen and launched in 2017. Its premise took shape in 2011, when Guguen paired a specially composed fragrance with a song during a concert in Barcelona, inspiring an enduring connection between music and scent. His earlier work in fragrance product development, alongside his career as a musician, informed the brand’s direction. L’Orchestre Parfum builds each fragrance in dialogue with a musical style, composition, or sound, followed by a corresponding interpretation from musicians. The launch collection comprised five fragrances, developed with the Flair studio and perfumers including Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois. Among them, Cuir Kora connects leather and instrument materials with a kora-inspired interpretation, while Flamenco Néroli grew from Guguen’s flamenco theme, with orange-blossom imagery associated with Andalusia and a guitar-oriented setting. The brand’s fragrances are made in France, vegan, and based on natural French beet alcohol; it also supports the Philharmonie de Paris’s Démos music-education programme.
