Laboratorio Olfattivo

Laboratorio Olfattivo was founded in 2009 by Daniela Caon and Roberto Drago as a project devoted to Italian artistic and niche perfumery. The brand works as a workshop, inviting Italian and international perfumers to develop fragrances from inspirations, memories, journeys, and accords, with each composition intended to communicate a story or emotional experience. Drago serves as creative director for the development and design of the fragrances, while Caon oversees the visual identity, and the brand is associated with Kaon, the company the founders established. In 2016, Laboratorio Olfattivo expanded its fragrance structure with the Laboratorio in Fiore and Décou-Vert collections. The Masters’ Collection followed in 2019, bringing together Jean-Claude Ellena, Lucien Ferrero, and Dominique Ropion. Ellena also collaborated on Viaggio in Italia, a three-fragrance collection built around Italian citrus and a journey through Italian places and culture. In 2024, Tiglio Mirabilis and Pompelmo were finalists in the Italian-made fragrance categories of the Accademia del Profumo awards.
