Ladanika

Ladanika is a Russian perfumery project founded in 2016 by Polina Poplevina, who initiated it after looking for fragrances with Russian spirit, Russian names, and Russian-style presentation. The project grew from her personal fragrance collection into a public creative endeavor, with independent perfumers developing scents to her briefs. Its work explores Russian culture, history, nature, and national imagery, while its creative direction extends to collaborations with Russian perfumers and individually designed patterns, packaging, and bottle decoration for each fragrance. By January 2020, Ladanika had released 36 fragrance creations, with Black Raven identified as the newest composition at the time. A distinctive part of Ladanika’s fragrance identity is its Russian-themed collection, which includes Russian Fairytale and Vasilisa Prekrasnaya.
