Lamazuna
Founded in 2010 by Laëtitia Van de Walle, Lamazuna began with reusable microfiber makeup-removal wipes created to replace disposable cotton pads. The concept grew into vegan, zero-waste beauty and bathroom products designed to reduce bathroom waste, with solid cosmetics added in 2015. Lamazuna’s identity is associated with solid cosmetics, reduced plastic packaging, veganism, animal welfare, and French artisanal production. As its activity and space requirements increased, the brand moved from Paris to the Drôme region in summer 2018. After more than a year under judicial reorganization, Lamazuna was transferred to Cosm’etika through a court-approved sale plan on 4 June 2024. The brand retained its own identity under the new owner, while its hygiene range remained substantially unchanged and its house-related products were discontinued. Van de Walle, who shaped Lamazuna’s early development and product direction, was not retained by the acquiring company.
