Lamborghini

Automobili Lamborghini was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini on May 7, 1963, in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, after his earlier ventures in tractors and heating and cooling systems. The 350 GT, presented at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show, was its first production model; the Miura followed in 1966, and its design, together with the Countach’s, shaped a tradition associated with Marcello Gandini and Nuccio Bertone. Ownership moved from the Mimran Group to Chrysler in 1987, then to Megatech in 1994, before Audi took over on July 24, 1998, bringing Lamborghini into the Volkswagen Group. The Diablo replaced the Countach in 1990; the Murciélago became the first newly developed supercar of the Audi era in 2001, and the Gallardo arrived in 2003 alongside Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design department. Today, Automobili Lamborghini is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Finance Luxembourg under Audi’s direction within the Volkswagen Group, presenting an identity shaped by technological innovation and audacious style. Fragrance activity spans distinct Lamborghini entities: Tonino Lamborghini developed perfumes, including Invincibile, launched in 2018 and later identified among its best-selling men’s collections. In June 2026, Automobili Lamborghini announced a three-fragrance collaboration with Xerjoff.
