Laura Biagiotti

The Biagiotti family business was founded in Rome by Delia Soldaini Biagiotti. In 1965, Laura Biagiotti and Gianni Cigna founded Biagiotti Export, and in 1972 Laura founded the maison carrying her name. The brand developed from a Roman family atelier into an international fashion house, with Laura Biagiotti becoming the first Italian designer to stage a fashion show in China, in 1988. Cashmere strongly shaped her fashion identity, while the brand’s creative world connected fashion with art and cultural patronage through artistic references in collections, Piccolo Teatro fashion-show sponsorship since 1998, and art-restoration projects. Its fragrance legacy is anchored by Roma, identified as the brand’s iconic fragrance and launched in 1988. Its column-shaped bottle forms part of the fragrance’s identity, alongside its inspiration in Rome. Roma Uomo followed in 1992 as the principal masculine extension of that story. In 2025, Give Back Beauty agreed to acquire AB Parfums, formerly Angelini Beauty, whose assets included the Laura Biagiotti fragrance business and related licenses.
