Laurent Mazzone

Laurent Mazzone’s fragrance story grew from an early interest in perfumery alongside DJing and fashion. After opening a fashion boutique in Grenoble in 1998, he developed scented candles and early fragrances there, including Noir Gabardine, Ambre Muscadin, and Patchouly Bohème. The perfumery’s history includes an earlier venture founded in 2000 and the emergence of LM Parfums in 2010. Olivia Giacobetti helped guide Mazzone into perfume creation, while encounters with perfumers including Mona di Orio formed part of the brand’s development. LM Parfums builds its creative identity around personal memory, fashion, music, and nightlife, treating each fragrance as a story that preserves a memory, moment, or passion. Its bottle forms and structural lines draw on New York City architecture, an idea Mazzone said crystallized while viewing the Manhattan skyline from the Royalton Hotel. Its olfactory identity is expressed through story-led creations influenced by fashion and music, with dark or mysterious themes and rich oriental accords. Sensual Orchid was described as the house’s best-selling fragrance in 2017, while Dulce Pear was identified as its then-current best seller in 2024.
