Lava

Lava is an Emirati artisanal candle brand established in 2016 by H.H. Sheikha Amna Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. It grew from a passion project after she received a candle-making set from her father and developed the idea into a business. The brand’s creative identity draws on the deserts, seas, and natural elements of the United Arab Emirates, expressed through Emirati-designed handcrafted candles and fragrance products. In 2019, Lava introduced the Tasamoh collection around the UAE’s declared Year of Tolerance, launching it to coincide with Eid Al Adha. By 2021, its range had extended beyond candles to room sprays, diffusers, perfumes, and hair mists, while the brand continued to present itself as a UAE-produced home-fragrance label. Its fragrance language combines Oriental inspiration with floral, citrus, aromatic, aquatic, and woody directions, alongside bespoke scent creation. The Signature Collection pairs oud, rose, and amber with a white-marble presentation.
