Fragrance house
Lavanila
Lavanila Laboratories was established in 2007 by Laura DiGirolamo and Danielle Raynor, with a founding aim of creating beauty products without harsh chemicals and centering healthier fragrance and beauty formulations. Its early fragrance program brought natural, chemical-conscious perfume to a category in which such products were uncommon, and Sephora began carrying its vanilla-based fragrances that same year. By 2012, the business had grown from three products into a broader beauty line spanning fragrance, body care, deodorant, and related personal-care products. The brand’s public identity remains organized around natural fragrance and natural deodorant within a wider healthy-beauty range. Vanilla is its recurring olfactory focus: the fragrance lineup is described as vanilla-based, and Pure Vanilla is identified as the signature fragrance. The original 2007 launch included Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Grapefruit, and Vanilla Blossom, all created by Givaudan and sharing Madagascar vanilla as a base element. Lavanila’s current legal notice identifies DALA Beauty, LLC, doing business as Lavanila Laboratories, as the owner of its website and associated intellectual property.
