Le Couvent Maison de Parfum

Le Couvent Maison de Parfum’s history runs through Le Couvent des Minimes, a business created and owned by L’Occitane Group in 2004. Its historical narrative is rooted in a site in southern France founded in 1614 and associated with botanist Louis Feuillée, who served Louis XIV. The original business combined plant-inspired skincare and wellbeing products with colognes; in 2019, its fragrance offer was repackaged around the Botanical Colognes and Parfums Remarquables collections. That relaunch shifted the creative focus toward travel- and nature-inspired collections linked to Feuillée’s botanical legacy, while continuing the brand’s vegan French haute-parfumerie approach. Since 2019, Jean-Claude Ellena has served as Director of Olfactory Creation, guiding a team of invited French perfumers; his collaboration began with the Eaux de Parfum Singulières collection. Cologne of the Missions, launched in 2011, helped the brand gain a following among fragrance lovers. On May 28, 2025, Création Beauté International announced its acquisition of Le Couvent Maison de Parfum from Kresk 4 Oceans Group.
