Le Prince Jardinier

Le Prince Jardinier began in 1991 at Château de La Bourdaisière in Touraine, where Louis Albert de Broglie was creating what became the National Tomato Conservatory; his gardening work inspired the nickname “Le Prince Jardinier.” In 1995, he launched the eponymous line as an art-of-living brand centered on gardening, nature, tools, clothing and objects. Its creative identity is rooted in refined design, biodiversity, natural materials, inherited know-how and pieces intended to outlast fashion cycles. After de Broglie bought Maison Deyrolle in 2001, Le Prince Jardinier later operated within the Deyrolle group; the current official terms identify the brand as belonging to Deyrolle SAS. In 2023, he welcomed his nephew Nicolas, Nicolas’s wife Julie and their family into the brand’s transmission, bringing a more lifestyle-oriented direction organized around freedom, playfulness and personality.
