Leiber
Leiber is the fragrance name associated with Judith Leiber, the New York fashion house founded by designer Judith Leiber. Leiber established her own business in New York in 1963, after working as a handbag designer for other companies; a handbag she created for Mamie Eisenhower’s 1953 inaugural ball had already raised her public profile. The house developed a distinctive design language through crystal- and rhinestone-encrusted metal minaudières, often shaped as whimsical animals or food-inspired objects, and today centers on evening bags and crystal minaudières. The company was sold to London-based Time Products in March 1993, and Authentic Brands Group acquired Judith Leiber from Schottenstein Luxury Group in February 2013; Authentic Brands Group is its current owner. In fragrance, the house launched its first eponymous scent in 2007. In 2020, it introduced More Is More, a concept by perfumer Jérôme di Marino in which three fragrances could be worn separately or mixed into seven combinations from one bottle.
