Leme

Leme’s concept originated in 2008, when founder Luís Pereira began developing a perfumery brand around Portugal’s historic voyages. Before entering fine fragrance in 2022, Leme focused on soaps and scented notebooks; its first fragrance collection was Perfumes com Estória. The brand’s identity links Portuguese history and the Age of Discovery to fragrances that interpret journeys through associated places and dates. The original six-fragrance launch was developed in collaboration with Paula Gomes of I-Sensis. Algarve 1434, released in 2023, commemorates the Portuguese rounding of Cape Bojador in 1434, extending the historical concept to the Algarve. Lisboa 1497, inspired by Vasco da Gama’s departure in 1497, became a documented commercial milestone after many purchases were reported, and in 2024 Leme extended its aroma into bath and body products. Leme is commercialized by 100ml, the Portuguese company founded in January 2008 by Luís Miguel Pereira.
