Lengling

Lengling is a Munich perfume house founded in 2014 by married couple Christian and Ursula Lengling. The couple had previously established a distribution company for artistic fragrances in 2005, and the house began offering its own fragrances through selected perfumeries in Germany and abroad in 2015. Public sources describe Lengling as owner-run, with Christian and Ursula continuing as the people behind the house. Its creative identity rests on a dual fragrance structure: each perfume combines two contrasting accords, the LENG and LING notes, named from the family name. Ursula Lengling develops compositions from personal memories, moments, and encounters and oversees the brand’s public presentation. Munich is part of the house’s identity through an Isar-pebble replica used as the bottle cap. El Pasajero, described as Lengling’s first fragrance, recalls a summer night in Andalusia, while Eisbach is identified as the house’s Munich fragrance, inspired by the contrasting energy of the Eisbachwelle and the calm of a nearby Japanese teahouse.
