Les Cocottes de Paris
Created in 2015 by Anaïs Biguine, Les Cocottes de Paris is built around the celebrated French courtesans of the nineteenth century, known as cocottes or demi-mondaines. Their histories inspire a fragrance collection that translates the lives and personalities of these figures into scent narratives. The founding launch comprised three fragrances devoted to La Castiglione, La Belle Otero, and Melle Cléo, establishing the brand’s central creative method. Biguine, the associated perfumer and creative figure, aimed to give these historically inspired fragrances a vintage character adapted to modern taste. The collection also includes fragrances connected with Cora Pearl and La Dame aux Camélias. Today, Les Cocottes de Paris is presented within the Maison Jardin d’Écrivains e-shop, which lists it among the house’s brands and its creations.
