Les Essentiels
Les Essentiels was created in 2017 by Parfumerie AM Diffusion as one of three independent brands, connecting a contemporary fragrance collection to a parent house that traces its history to 1926, when it specialized in Eau de Cologne for Parisian department stores. In 1960, the Darmon family took ownership, shifted distribution toward the mass market, and renamed the company Parfumerie AM Diffusion. The house later opened a private-label division in 2008, serving mass-market, premium, and luxury brands. Les Essentiels is organized around nature and essential raw materials: its fragrances are formulated in Grasse with ingredients of natural origin, and each eau de parfum highlights a principal natural ingredient. Presented as a collection of eleven principal notes, the line expanded in February 2026 with Pistache, Coconut, and Cerise.
