Les Indémodables
Les Indémodables was founded by Valérie Pulvérail, who had worked in selective perfumery, training, marketing, and operations. In January 2012, she created Le Bistro de la Beauté in Annecy; after four years of developing the concept and listening to customers, she created the Les Indémodables perfume collection. The earliest edition dates to 2016. Conceived as an olfactory wardrobe, the collection is organized around major fragrance families and classic perfumery structures, reinterpreted through unusual associations and intensified ingredients. Its identity also rests on internally developed, exclusive natural extracts associated with L’Atelier Français des Matières and an integrated approach to ingredient research and formulation. Antoine Lie, one of the house’s principal perfumers, is its creative director and participates in developing these extracts, alongside Florence Fouillet Dubois. Vanille Havane, launched in 2020 as an Antoine Lie composition centered on vanilla’s complex facets, is identified as the collection’s leader. The line includes a subsequent Coeur de Oud variation built around the original structure and a specially developed oud extract.
