Les Néréides

Pascale and Enzo Amaddeo founded Les Néréides in Nice in 1980 after meeting at an arts academy in Belgium. In 1985, the brand’s early development moved to Paris, where Enzo’s interest in gardening helped inspire its first flower-themed series. Its creative identity centers on nature, animals, vegetation, and the sea, expressed through colorful, narrative jewelry and hand-painted enamel techniques. Les Néréides remains a family business, with all four Amaddeo children involved in its artistic direction, visual identity, product development, and English subsidiary. Pier-Paolo Amaddeo’s work shaped the later creative direction through the house’s feminine style, colors, and poetic symbols. The family also created the related N2 label in 2004. In 2015, Pascale and Enzo established the Les Néréides Loves Animals foundation, with one collection per season supporting animal-protection organizations. Fragrance is linked to the jewelry universe: Patchouli Antique was paired with the jewelry from the beginning, before the perfume offering expanded with additional nature-inspired scents.
