Les Parfums Suspendus
Les Parfums Suspendus was co-founded by Eric Michalon, who worked on its initial six-fragrance women’s range, identity, launch, and commercialization during his 2008–2016 co-founder period. Its earliest fragrances were recorded as launching in 2010, followed by New Barbers fragrances associated with the brand in 2012. The brand’s concept refers to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, bringing together trees and flowers from different parts of the world. Its philosophy describes a return to fundamentals through raw materials that are beautiful, different, innovative, rare, or meaningful, while its olfactory identity emphasizes unusual essences and contrasts, framed as being between sky and earth. Marc Gignoux is named as the brand’s creative figure and worked with Michalon on the concept, products, and presentation. The original core collection included five fragrances, among them Tonka Ambrée et Edelweiss, created in 2010 with fresh accents and a warm gourmand amber-vanilla profile.
