LesNez

LesNez is an independent Swiss perfume house established by René Schifferle. The brand launched in 2006 with The Unicorn Spell, Let Me Play the Lion, and L’Antimatière, all created by Isabelle Doyen. Its creative model gives perfumers broad freedom, minimizes intermediaries, and places experimentation ahead of conventional business presentation. LesNez distinguishes its Swiss production and company identity from its creative inspiration, which it seeks elsewhere. In 2009, Sandrine Videault created Manoumalia, extending the house’s fragrance work beyond its founding trio. Vetiver is a defining direction for LesNez through Turtle Vetiver, which Nez describes as Doyen’s triple interpretation of the material, marked by strong medicinal nuances. The project developed as a sequence of variations: the official site describes Exercise 1 as a limited experiment whose depletion would lead to a new variation.
