Light of Sakina

Light of Sakina was founded in Dubai in 2018 by entrepreneur Naila Rahim. It began as a candle-making initiative intended to empower widows and orphans in Najaf, Iraq, before developing into a UAE-based scent and lifestyle brand. As a women-founded and women-run company, it centers its work on spirituality, sustainability, and giving back. Its “Scents for the Soul” philosophy frames fragrance as an emotional and spiritual ritual, expressed through perfumes, candles, bakhoor, and related home rituals. In August 2025, the brand introduced the Tajali Collection, a trio of Mamool Bakhour blends created as a tribute to Emirati women and connected to heritage, spirituality, and womanhood. Its fragrance offering also includes the Ehsaas Gift Set, a best-selling collection of Fajr, Kiah, and Sehr, presented as a progression from morning to night moods.
