Ligne St. Barth

Ligne St Barth was established in 1983 by Hervé Brin on Saint-Barthélemy, with an aim of expressing French-Caribbean life through an uncomplicated form of luxury. Its first products—Roucou Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Avocado Oil, and Coconut Oil—drew on tropical botany and were sold in hand-labelled traditional rum bottles at the beach. The brand’s identity is tied to Saint-Barthélemy and Caribbean biodiversity, bringing together island-inspired beauty products and luxury wellness. In 1998, it introduced a spa concept for Jamaica’s Roaring Pavilion. It launched its Homme eau de toilette and men’s skincare range in 2000, followed by a complete facial-care line in 2001. A fragrance collection inspired by the diversity and strength of the tropics arrived in 2006. Vanille West Indies became a brand classic, presented as a creamy Caribbean-vanilla scent with caramel and orchid facets connected to Creole culture and island life. In 2015, Ligne St Barth launched the Sea Breeze range. The company is privately held and family-owned.
