Lilian Barony

Lilian Barony is a fragrance and cosmetics brand documented in international trademark records from 28 April 1995, under a Class 3 registration covering perfumery, essential oils, cosmetics and soaps. Its early fragrance catalogue included L’Eau de Lilian (1995), Lilian (1997), Summer Splash (1998), and L’Eau Sport Men (1999). A 1996 trade-publication excerpt also recorded Donna Uomo as a new unisex fragrance by Milan designer Lilian Barony, accompanied by a four-product range. The mark’s recorded holder changed in 2005 from Village Cosmetics and Henning Kreke to Village Cosmetics GmbH & Co. KG, all based in Augsburg, Germany. More recently, a Sri Lankan trademark application received on 26 October 2022 lists Macks Marketing (Pvt) Ltd as applicant for the mark in Class 3. Macks Marketing currently presents Lilian Barony among its fragrance brands, while a January 2025 case study records Deepani Enterprises’ development of a four-variant perfume range for Macks Marketing and continued partnership for future production.
