Lipsy

Lipsy London is a London-based women’s fashion brand founded around 2002 by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Marcelle Stakol. In 2008, ownership moved from the founders and private-equity backers to Next, while Lipsy’s London management team continued running the business through the transition. By January 2020, Next described Lipsy as a wholly owned subsidiary selling its own label alongside third-party women’s fashion brands. In July 2019, Lipsy acquired Fabled by Marie Claire, a branded beauty business, substantially expanding Next’s branded-beauty offer. The brand also has a documented fragrance connection: Lipsy London Love launched in 2012 as a fragrance associated with the fashion label.
