Lorenzo Pazzaglia

Lorenzo Pazzaglia grew up in Fano on Italy’s Adriatic coast and began his professional life as a cook in his family’s restaurant business in Cagli. Around 2014–2015, he started experimenting with fragrance accords using essential oils, sharing his trials with friends, restaurant customers, and collaborators. PAX S.r.l. and the PAX by Lorenzo Pazzaglia fragrance brand were established in 2021, marking its formal entry into niche perfumery. Pazzaglia is the brand’s central creative figure and perfumer, and its identity draws on culinary aromas, childhood memories, Mediterranean food experiences, and emotional associations with place and family. The brand is characterized by intense extrait-style compositions, personal storytelling, and direct creative authorship. Carbonara, launched in spring 2020, translates the sensory and emotional associations of a family restaurant dish into fragrance; Pazzaglia has identified it as the creation that most represents him and his childhood. In 2024, Summer Hammer received Best Fragrance Revelation at the Perfume Awards in Madrid, while Sun-Gria won Fragrance of the Year at the ScentXplore People’s Choice Awards.
