Fragrance house

Lorenzo Villoresi

Founded by Lorenzo Villoresi in Florence in 1990, the perfume house grew from his travels in the Middle East, study of essences and spices, and work creating bespoke fragrances. Based in a Renaissance palazzo on Via de’ Bardi, the Maison draws on diverse countries and cultures while emphasizing emotion, creativity, harmony, innovation, vision, and authenticity. The business began as Atelier de Parfums in 1989 and adopted the name Lorenzo Villoresi in May 1999 after producing potpourri, scented candles, and home fragrances for Fendi. Villoresi remains the house’s defining creative figure and perfumer, and received France’s Prix François Coty in 2006. Teint de Neige, launched in 2000, is the house’s most iconic fragrance, known for its powder-focused, Belle Époque-inspired floral style. As of January 2026, Lorenzo Villoresi was described as one of the few fragrance houses to remain independent as large conglomerates pursued niche brands. In 2025, the house presented Teti from its Mare Nostrum collection at Pitti Fragranze, its first launch since 2018.
