Maahir Legacy is a fragrance from Lattafa, the Emirati fragrance business founded in the UAE in the 1980s by Sheikh Shahid Ahmad and Shoaib Iqbal. A third-generation, family-run business, Lattafa grew from Sheikh Shahid Ahmad’s experience in a Dubai perfume shop and his effort to introduce Arabic fragrances to a market then strongly drawn to French perfumery. Its fragrance identity combines Oriental and Western traditions, with Arabic fragrance and oud as important influences. The business serves more than 120 countries. Maahir Legacy belongs to Lattafa’s Maahir line, whose horse-head caps reference the cultural importance of horses in Arab culture. Released in 2023, Maahir Legacy is a citrus-aromatic fragrance for men, opening with lime, mint, grapefruit, lavender and pineapple.
