Mabelle O'Rama

Mabelle O’Rama is an independent olfactive studio based in London, founded by Lebanese-British perfumer and artist Mabelle Abi Ramia, also styled Mabelle A. Her olfactive journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she used scent as a therapeutic escape; she then founded the studio to explore memory, mental well-being, nostalgia and fantasy through fragrance. Its creative identity draws on Abi Ramia’s Phoenician heritage and fascination with the cosmos, treating scent as a bridge between personal memories, places and imagined worlds. The studio has also developed Olfactive Art, aromatic visual artworks designed to diffuse scent and tell stories in a form more permanent than ordinary wearability. Lunar Dust, Abi Ramia’s first fragrance, is a woody skin scent built around a cosmic, powdery lunar concept; it received an Honourable Mention in the 2023 Art and Olfaction Awards artisan category and won Best Skin Scent at the Marie Claire UK Fragrance Awards 2026. Forbidden Bloom, launched in 2023, was a finalist in two categories at the Fragrance Foundation UK Awards 2024, while Phoenix Flame was a 2025 finalist and Mabelle was a 2026 Rising Star finalist.
