Mabou

Mabou is a Munich-based room-fragrance label officially established in October 2020. Its concept joins scent with interior design: instead of a conventional stick diffuser, the brand uses porous, hand-cast sculptures whose surfaces release fragrance oil. The creative idea was to make Mabou’s fictional world tangible through unusual designs and fragrances. That world imagines animal species, plant beings, human tribes, deserts, jungles and luminous forests, with these narratives reflected in its objects and scent creations. Mabou’s first collection, Spirit of the Jungle, follows the Baakir nomadic tribe, the mysterious Alemee plant and the disruption of the animal world caused by the tribe’s desire for it. The range evolved from animal-themed scent sculptures and boxes to additional natural-form sculptures and scented candles. Mabou’s objects are individually finished, with production controlled and carried out in Germany.
