Mair

Mair is a Houston-based fragrance house founded in October 2015 by native Houstonian Mair Emenogu, the brand’s owner and creator. The brand began after a workplace comment about her signature appearing on a perfume bottle led Emenogu to pursue perfumery. Its creative premise places the individual at the center, using fragrance to express emotion and connect with memory rather than overpower the wearer. Mair is presented as a niche luxury house focused on soft signature scents, craftsmanship, global sourcing, and emotional resonance. Its fragrance history began with Remember When, launched in 2015 and created around the link between scent and memory. Peony Silk, the second fragrance, was released on March 23, 2021, and created with French perfumer Florie Tanquerel. In November 2024, Mair announced Acqua Di Lusso, its third fragrance, inspired by Emenogu’s travels in Italy, particularly Milan. The first fragrance was designed and crafted in Grasse, France, and manufactured in the United States.
