Maison 21G

Founded by Johanna Monange in 2020, Maison 21G is a Singapore-based bespoke perfumery centered on collaborative fragrance creation. Monange had more than two decades of fragrance experience, including creative-direction roles at Firmenich and IFF. The brand’s model allows customers to combine perfume essences into personalised scents, supported by an AI-guided personality quiz and in-person or digital scent-creation experiences. A formative technical milestone was La Source, a patented machine Monange designed to blend perfume concentrate into customer-selected fragrances. Maison 21G’s Atelier de Création offers a workshop in which participants learn about fragrance materials and create a personal scent. By 2025, its olfactive work had extended beyond personal fragrance to bespoke scent identities and scented objects for hotels, resorts, restaurants, and luxury brands, with Monange designing complete identities for those settings.
