Maison Amara

Maison Amara is a fragrance label associated with the UAE fragrance manufacturer Shaikh Mohd Saeed Est. Its wider associated business history dates to 1954, when the late Shaikh Mohd Saeed established the perfume business and founded Al Souk, described as Deira’s first perfume shop. The business later developed into a manufacturer, exporter, distributor, and retailer of Arabic, Oriental, and Western fragrances; Dhamma Trading Company was established in 1963 and later distributed French fragrances. Maison Amara’s La Rose Eau de Parfum is described as a UAE-origin rose fragrance with Oriental-French influences linked to the Shaikh Saeed perfume tradition.
