Maison Maissa

Founded in Paris in 2018 by Dahmane Ouafi and named after his daughter, Maison Maïssa is a fragrance house rooted in Ouafi’s Franco-Algerian heritage. Its identity combines French perfumery know-how with Eastern influences, connecting Eastern and Western olfactory traditions through French-made fragrances. The house is owned by Champs-Elysées Prestige, a French perfume holding society. By 2023, it had developed two collections: Signature d’Orient, focused on modernized oud, amber and patchouli styles, and Edition Murano, centered on fruity, floral and fresh fragrances inspired by gardens. That year, Maison Maïssa presented Nuit de la Tentation as its first feminine fragrance, expanding beyond its earlier unisex-oriented positioning. In March 2026, it launched Jasmin Mystérieux in the White Edition collection, drawing on Ouafi’s childhood memories of Algeria.
