Malbrum Parfums
Malbrum Parfums is a Norwegian perfume house created in Oslo in 2010 by Kristian Hilberg. It grew from Hilberg’s personal interest in perfume and his experiments with fragrance materials, followed by a collaboration with perfumer Delphine Thierry. The house introduced its first collection, the three-fragrance Volume I trilogy, in 2015, drawing on Asian and Oriental inspirations in an interpretation of down-to-earth charm; Volume II followed in 2016. In 2019, the owners of Masque Milano took over Malbrum’s development and distribution. By 2023, the brand was part of the Masque Artistic Fragrances group, created by Alessandro Brun and Riccardo Tedesco, and presented Act of Faith as its first release under the group, in collaboration with perfumer Cristiano Canali at Esxence. Today, Malbrum sits within the Artistic Fragrances portfolio alongside Masque Milano, Milano Fragranze and Soul Couture, with a stated focus on individuality and creativity. Its fragrance legacy is most clearly represented by Volume I, the trilogy that formed its initial public presentation at Esxence and Pitti Fragranze in 2015.
