Mancera
Founded in Paris in 2008 as a family collaboration between Pierre Montale and his daughter, Mancera combines French perfumery with Western and Eastern inspirations. Art Deco informs its visual language and geometric packaging, and in 2017 the brand’s public creative direction changed when Amélie Montale became artistic director; her background includes photography and visual art, along with a passion for Art Deco. Mancera is especially associated with concentrated fragrances that pair a predominantly Western appeal with Eastern-inspired oud creations. Cedrat Boise is listed on Mancera’s best-sellers page and in its “iconics” section, while an editorial guide describes it as an iconic fresh-woody fragrance.
