Maqueda

Maqueda is an independent fragrance brand born in Italy and located in Palermo. Its creative language is experimental, mysterious, and esoteric, drawing on ritual, nigredo, and the decomposition and transformation of matter. Fragrance is treated as an artistic medium through which the brand explores fermentation, mineral textures, memory, biological transformation, and immersive storytelling. In its Dark Room concept, individualized olfactory works are created with clients; each perfume receives a unique bottle and is not reproduced. Public fragrance references record Maqueda editions from 2025 through 2026, placing the brand among newer names in contemporary perfumery.
