Marie-Stella-Maris

Marie-Stella-Maris is a Dutch brand founded in 2011 by Patrick Munsters, formerly creative director and co-owner of Scotch & Soda. It began with bottled mineral water and developed visibility through hospitality before expanding into a care line that brought together design, fragrance, and social impact. In 2014, it entered direct-to-consumer care with the Marie-Stella-Maris Care line and webshop, covering beauty and home care. The brand was created around improving access to clean drinking water and hygiene, with part of sales directed to sustainable water projects. Its identity connects luxury with social responsibility, applying design and attention to detail across fragrance, ingredients, and packaging. No.12 Objets d’Amsterdam is among its bestsellers and is identified as the house’s most popular scent. In late September 2024, Marie-Stella-Maris added an Eau de Parfum collection whose fragrances were presented as stories inspired by water and the clean-water mission. The brand became B Corp certified in June 2024.
