Marrakech Imperial

Founded in Marrakesh in 2020 by the Italo-Moroccan duo Kenza Snoussi and Massimo Di Nardo, Marrakech Imperial is a contemporary artistic haute-perfumery house centered on Marrakech and its sensory character. Its creative language combines Western fragrance concepts with Arabic-Oriental influences, connecting Moroccan cultural heritage with contemporary interpretation. Moroccan designer Youssef Chajai created the bottles and packaging for the initial fragrances, drawing on references including Bab Agnaou, imperial-palace domes, zellige, and Moroccan weaving. The house debuted its seven-fragrance Moroccan Vibes collection in 2024, with all seven compositions created by Christian Carbonnel, also known as Chris Maurice, whom the brand identifies as the central figure behind its olfactory identity. By 2026, its public fragrance structure had grown to ten fragrances across Moroccan Vibes and the newer Moroccan Sahara collection. Moroccan Vibes is presented as the clearest defining fragrance collection, rooted in Marrakech and unified by Carbonnel’s signature.
